What is Laser League:

Laser League takes playing Laserzone to a whole new level, while still maintaining a social, relaxed environment. As an alternative to traditional sports, Laser League is still a great way to have fun and get fit. It turns a simple game of laser tag into a competitive sport, where teams battle in the arena using skill, timing and strategy.

With a team of dedicated Trainers and a unique handicapping system, Laserzone integrates new players and offers onsite training to players new and old, helping them to improve.

Format:

Each week will include:
- 3 Team Missions
- 12 Min
- 8 Sec Deactivations
- 2 shots per sec
- 5 man teams
- Nationals Score Set
- Denial Scoring off

Rules and Guides:

All league participants must be versed with the league rules before beginning competition. The following has been provided for you convenience.

The Brisbane round of the tournament certainly tested the player's mettle. There was a clear advantage to yellow base with its high view of the arena, and a clear disadvantage to blue base being right on the bottom floor.
Our visiting team, the Laserforks, were the first team to win from the challenging blue base, absolutely smashing their way to victory by 6000 points over second place. The only other team to win from blue base was Pezzimistic; once to secure their spot in the finals and once during finals itself!
Brisbane Round Robin
System D
Congratulations to the Brissy Super Team. Performing consistently all night, and having a cracker at the previous round at Sunshine Coast, Brissy Super Team coasted their way into the finals.
Finals
Well done to Pezzimistic on getting second! After getting off to a bumpy start during round 1, and losing their captain to illness for round 2, Pezzimistic fought hard to stay in the competition on the second night in Brisbane. Taking out the best performing team of the night, Gone Fishing, Pezzimistic made it into the finals as the last standing Sunshine Coast team.
Congrats to Brissy Boom on third place. The teams were fairly neck and neck after the first two games of the finals. But after a sneaky tactic by Pezzimistic, and an unfortunately manoeuvre by the Brissy Super Team in the third game, they bit the dust in red base.

After getting an early break, the Decepticons paved the way for the rest of the night.
Triples Results

Bootza was a great asset to the Decepticons, clearly topping the Solo Ladder. A very special wooden spoon award needs to go out to Zeus and Mini Me, our newest competitors.
